[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Han-ho] Wanju County announced on the 28th that it will operate the ‘Wanju 9 Scenic Spots Stamp Challenge’ using the mobile app WalkOn.
The operation period is two months, from the 30th of this month to September 30th.
This challenge is an event where participants complete missions by visiting at least three of the Wanju 9 Scenic Spots to collect stamps.
The 9 scenic spots are △ Daedunsan Provincial Park △ Gosan Natural Recreation Forest △ Moaksan Provincial Park △ Daea Arboretum & Daea Lake △ Soyang Songgwangsa Temple & Cherry Blossom Road △ Soyang Wibongsa Temple & Wibong Waterfall & Wibong Fortress △ Gyeongcheon Hwaamsa Temple △ Samnye Bibijeong △ Sang-gwan Gonggi Village Cypress Forest.
Using location-based services (GPS), stamps are issued when approaching within approximately 100 meters of the destination. The first 300 participants will receive one of the following: a mixing bowl set, a foot massage stick, or a portable battery.
To participate, install the WalkOn app on your smartphone, join Wanju County’s official community ‘Walking Together Wanju,’ and apply to participate in the Wanju 9 Scenic Spots Stamp Challenge.
Wanju County expects this challenge to promote the health of residents whose physical activity has decreased due to COVID-19 and to help them explore every corner of their hometown.
