BNK Busan Bank Selected as '2021 Korea's Top Job Creator Company'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] BNK Busan Bank announced on the 28th that it was selected as one of the 'Top 100 Excellent Companies' at the Korea Job Excellence Company Certification Ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The Korea Job Excellence Company is a certification program organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor that selects 100 companies with high-quality employment practices, such as job expansion, reduction of working hours, and work-life balance, awarding them plaques and encouraging their efforts.
Busan Bank received high praise for continuously creating quality jobs and new employment despite the regional economic downturn caused by COVID-19. Over the past three years, Busan Bank has hired 216 new employees and converted 39 contract workers to full-time positions.
Additionally, the bank took the lead in creating a job environment to prevent COVID-19 by prioritizing 10 days of special leave for pregnant employees, implementing remote and separated work, granting paid leave for COVID-19 testing, and operating a vaccine leave system.
