Daejeon Autonomous Police Recruiting 'Autonomous Police Citizens' for Public Safety Policy Proposals and More
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Daejeon Autonomous Police Committee announced on the 28th that it will recruit 'Autonomous Police Citizens' until the 17th of next month.
The Autonomous Police Citizens program is intended to facilitate two-way communication with citizens regarding autonomous police affairs and to establish citizen-tailored public safety policies.
Approximately 100 people will be recruited, and those selected will be responsible for proposing public safety-related policies, monitoring unreasonable issues, and suggesting improvements. They will also engage in promoting major news such as new autonomous police policies to citizens through SNS activities.
Any Daejeon citizen can participate as an Autonomous Police Citizen. Applications can be submitted through the Daejeon City Hall Autonomous Police Committee.
The final selected candidates will be individually notified next month after document screening. The activity period is from August this year to February 2024, and outstanding participants will receive benefits such as a mayoral commendation.
