From August 3 to August 20, 'Jungnang Happiness Bulletin Board' Fall Edition Text Contest... Accepting Original Autumn-Themed Phrases Within 30 Characters
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) will accept submissions for the autumn edition of the ‘Jungnang Happiness Bulletin Board,’ which conveys happiness and hope to residents by capturing the emotions of the upcoming fall, from August 3 to August 20.
Anyone residing or working in the Jungnang-gu area can submit one entry per person. The submission should be an original phrase within 30 characters that evokes the feeling of autumn, with a theme that offers warm comfort to residents of all generations who visit the district office.
Completed original phrases can be submitted through the Jungnang-gu Office website (Citizen Participation → Internet Submission). If online submission is difficult, entries can be delivered in person to the Administrative Support Division of Jungnang-gu Office or sent by mail (4th floor, Administrative Support Division, 179 Bonghwasan-ro, Jungnang-gu).
A phrase selection committee composed of internal and external members will review the submissions and select a total of six works. Prizes include 500,000 KRW in Jungnang Love Gift Certificates for the winning entry and 100,000 KRW each for five runners-up, totaling approximately 1,000,000 KRW.
The winning phrase, accompanied by a beautiful design matching the text, will be displayed on the exterior wall of the Jungnang-gu Office building from September to November.
Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi of Jungnang-gu said, “I hope residents feel the small joys of daily life through the Jungnang Happiness Bulletin Board, which meets residents in different colors each season,” and added, “We ask for many residents’ participation so that the clear and abundant autumn can be felt.”
