Wemade Makes Additional 30 Billion KRW Investment in Bithumb Major Shareholder Bident
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Wemade announced on the 27th that it has made an additional investment of 30 billion KRW in Bident, a shareholder of the cryptocurrency exchange 'Bithumb.'
This investment is a decision to strengthen the business partnership between the two companies. Previously, on the 15th, Wemade invested 50 billion KRW in Bident, becoming the second largest shareholder of Bident.
The two companies plan to actively seek ways to create synergy in the metaverse and blockchain businesses based on closer business discussions and collaborative relationships in the future, promoting broad forms of cooperation.
In particular, Bithumb, Bident, and Wemade will cooperate to help Bithumb become a global exchange.
