"President Moon Responsible for 'Druking Incident' Claims Yoon, Lee Jae-myung Asks 'Where Did You Learn Politics?'"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Juhee] Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung sent a 'warning message' to former Prime Minister Yoon, who said in relation to the 'Druking comment manipulation case' that "a key aide led the manipulation of public opinion to elect President Moon Jae-in."
On the 26th, Governor Lee criticized former Prime Minister Yoon on Facebook, saying, "Stop the unreasonable involvement of the president. The claim that President Moon ordered or was involved in manipulating public opinion is a fallacy that distorts the truth."
He stated, "The Druking case began with the government's, ruling party's, and Blue House's determination to eradicate portal comment manipulation. There is no mention of Blue House officials being involved anywhere in the indictment by Special Prosecutor Heo Ik-beom, who was appointed by the opposition party. Yet, to drag the president into this..." He added, "If by any chance the president had ordered or been involved, would the ruling party have requested a police investigation? Would they have made such a self-defeating move? This claim makes no sense."
He also pointed out, "The presidential election was held through the Candlelight Revolution and impeachment. The idea that public sentiment and opinion changed due to the Druking group's portal comment manipulation is an excessive leap," adding, "It is a notion that disregards the 17 million sovereign citizens who took to the streets in the freezing cold. It is merely political agitation aimed at undermining the legitimacy of the Moon Jae-in administration by laying the groundwork for election rejection."
He continued, "I hope you show courtesy as a person before politics. No matter how ruthless politics may be, there is a minimum standard of character and manners that must be observed," and questioned, "Where did you learn politics that you can trample and criticize even the president who trusted and appointed you just for approval ratings?"
Furthermore, he said, "Is repaying trust in this way the kind of politics Candidate Yoon envisions? It only looks like a desperate measure to attack the president to prevent his own approval ratings from falling."

He added, "President Moon must respond and take responsibility. Is this something 'Secretary Kim Kyung-soo' should be held accountable for?" and criticized the current administration, saying, "The reason this cannot be brushed aside is because 'it will happen again.' If that happens, a small group manipulating public opinion will once again come to power, pretending to uphold democracy while blatantly ruining the country even more than now."
