Hyundai Oilbank Launches 'Employee Health Care' Program
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Hyundai Oilbank rewarded employees who participated in its in-house health program. The company plans to expand health-related activities going forward.
Hyundai Oilbank announced on the 26th that it successfully concluded the health care program conducted over the past five months and gifted indoor exercise equipment to all 277 participants. Among them, outstanding participants who achieved a weight loss rate of 10% or more received additional rewards such as hotel accommodation vouchers and massage devices.
This health care program was designed for employees who found it difficult to manage their health due to changes in the work environment and restrictions on the use of exercise facilities. With the expansion of remote work due to COVID-19, the company created a personalized challenge program for employee health.
Baek Jong-eok, head of the Hyundai Oilbank support team, said, "Many employees are experiencing unexplained anxiety and helplessness due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic," adding, "We plan to expand programs to promote the health of our employees."
