Fair Trade Commission Conducts Subcontracting Transaction Survey... Targeting 100,000 Businesses
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] The Fair Trade Commission announced on the 26th that it will conduct a subcontracting transaction survey targeting 100,000 businesses.
The Fair Trade Commission will investigate the degree of improvement in transaction practices in three industries: manufacturing, service, and construction; the issuance of contracts and the use of standard subcontract agreements; and the payment and adjustment status of subcontracting fees.
Businesses will be notified by mail whether they are subject to the survey, and the survey will be conducted in a form where businesses enter information directly on the website. The survey for original contractors will be conducted from today until August 20, and the survey for subcontractors will be conducted from September 16 to October 13.
Starting this year, the Fair Trade Commission has entrusted the practical work of the survey to a specialized statistical survey company. In addition to the existing telephone consultations, an integrated consultation center has been established to provide SNS consultations, and during the subcontractor survey period, on-site visit services will be provided for small businesses that have difficulty responding online.
