60-Year-Old Arrested on Attempted Murder Charges for Swinging a Weapon at Neighbor While Drinking
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A man in his 60s who wielded a weapon against a neighbor while drinking together was arrested by the police.
On the 26th, the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul announced that they plan to request an arrest warrant for A (62) on charges of attempted murder.
A is accused of wielding a weapon at his neighbor B (54) while drinking together at a villa in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, around 1:05 a.m. that day, injuring B's abdomen and the back of his hand. Police who responded to B's report arrested A at the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital but is reported to be in stable condition.
