Gochang-gun Takes Thorough Measures to Prevent Water Play Safety Accidents in Summer
[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeonbuk Gochang-gun (Governor Yu Gisang) is making every effort to ensure safety from water play and prevent casualties as the peak vacation season begins.
The county announced on the 26th that it has assigned two safety management personnel to prevent water play accidents following the recent opening of Munsu Valley in Gosu-myeon.
The Munsu Valley safety management personnel will conduct water play safety inspections and thoroughly manage COVID-19 disinfection during the water play safety accident prevention period (until the 15th of next month).
The county checks compliance with social distancing guidelines in daily life through mask-wearing, hand sanitizer use, and temperature checks, and maintains 24-hour situation management on weekdays and weekends to promptly respond to quarantine and water play safety accidents.
Before the opening, old guide signs were replaced and life-saving equipment was inspected.
A county official said, “Despite difficult conditions such as the spread of COVID-19, we will make every effort to promote safety management in cooperation with related organizations such as the fire department to prevent safety accidents for residents and visitors at water play sites.”
