Jeonnam Fire Department Successfully Concludes the 1st 'Rescue Policy Workshop'
Strengthening Disaster Response Capabilities and Preventing Safety Accidents... Naju Fire Station Wins Top Award
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Ma Jaeyoon) successfully concluded its first-ever fire policy workshop.
On the 23rd, Jeonnam Fire announced that it held the 1st 'Jeonnam 119 Rescue Policy Workshop,' where the Naju Fire Station Policy Research Team took first place and received the grand prize.
The 119 Rescue Policy Workshop was conducted with the aim of improving and developing rescue policies (techniques) through free topics, proposing directions for the advancement of rescue policies (techniques), enhancing on-site response capabilities of rescue personnel at various disaster scenes, and preventing safety accidents.
Policy research teams from 18 fire stations in the Jeonnam region participated, selecting six excellent research papers in the first round of paper review, and determining the awardees through a second round of presentation evaluation.
The Naju Fire Station presented research on improving response measures for electric vehicle accidents, receiving balanced scores in creativity, validity, and effectiveness.
Accordingly, Naju Fire Station will represent Jeonnam at the national competition hosted by the Fire Agency next month.

Chief Ma Jaeyoon stated, “To actively respond to the rapidly changing rescue environment, future-oriented fire policy research is necessary,” adding, “I hope this research paper material leads to the discovery of practical fire policies and contributes to providing better fire services to the public.”
