Suncheon City Hosts 'On(Tact) Concert' Cultural Day Performance Walk

[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Heo Seok) announced on the 23rd that it will hold the <2021 Culture Day Performance Walk> 'On(tact) Concert' online without face-to-face contact at 7 p.m. on the 28th.
Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and co-organized by the Korea Culture and Arts Centers Association and Suncheon City, this performance was originally scheduled to be held at Joryeho Lake Park under the theme 'Concert Thanks to Citizens,' but due to the worsening COVID-19 situation, the venue was moved to the Suncheon Culture and Arts Center Small Theater and will be held non-face-to-face.
This performance, featuring high-quality performances by local artists, includes traditional Korean instruments and Korean dance as well as Western instruments, harmonizing their musical colors to present a variety of genres with high artistic value such as Aladdin OST, Sarangga (fusion), Taepyeongga, Ssukdaemeori, Moon River, and Fly Me to the Moon. It conveys a message of 'hope' that brings joy and gives strength to overcome sadness.
The performance will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel 'Suncheon City Culture and Arts Center.'
