Police Catch 63 People at Gangnam-gu Nightclub Operating Late Despite Gathering Ban

According to the police on the 23rd, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul apprehended a total of 63 people, including the 20-year-old owner A and employees and customers, on charges of violating the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act at a nightlife bar in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, around 10:50 p.m. on the 21st.
Police, who responded to a report that "a nightlife bar is operating," entered by opening a locked door together with the fire department and confirmed the illegal operation.
The police stated that they notified the local district office of the gathering ban violations by the apprehended customers and others.
