Korea Technology Finance Corporation to Hire 110 New Employees This Year
Application Deadline Until the 5th of Next Month... Selecting NCS-Based Job-Fit Talent
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jung Yoon-mo, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 22nd that it will hire 110 new employees in 2021 to actively respond to the government's youth job creation policy.
Recruitment will be divided according to job roles: ▲100 positions in technology guarantee and technology evaluation ▲5 positions in bond management ▲5 positions in IT, and outstanding talents with excellent job competencies will be selected through a fully blind recruitment based on the National Competency Standards (NCS).
As a comprehensive support institution for venture innovation for small and medium-sized venture companies, Kibo will hire professional talents including PhDs in machinery, textiles, chemical engineering, information and communication, environment, and life sciences, as well as certified public accountants, lawyers, and patent attorneys. In addition, veterans will be separately classified for recruitment, and additional points will be given to excellent young interns at Kibo, conducting recruitment focused on job competency. In particular, this recruitment will implement AI and big data-based plagiarism checks on application forms and AI competency tests to strengthen fairness and transparency.
The recruitment schedule will go through document screening, written examination, first interview, and second interview, with successful candidates finalized by the end of November. Applications will be accepted through the recruitment website until 2 p.m. on the 5th of next month, and the written examination will be held simultaneously in Seoul and Busan on September 11.

Director Lee Jong-bae of Kibo said, "From 2018 to 2020, we hired more than 70 new employees annually over the past three years, and this year, considering the employment market contracted by COVID-19, we decided to conduct the largest recruitment since 2018 with 110 positions. We plan to proceed with recruitment while strictly adhering to government quarantine guidelines, prioritizing the prevention of COVID-19 infection among applicants."
