This camp was conducted to cultivate leadership qualities through increased confidence and presentation skills, and to propose policies for Yeonggwang education.
The camp consisted of various activities such as voice training to become a leader, creating a dream list and presenting a vision, and offering opinions for the development of Yeonggwang education.
The ‘Yeonggwang United Student Council’ is an organization composed of representatives from each elementary, middle, and high school, operating united activities once a month.
At the youth policy advisory group meeting held that day, various issues were discussed, including school violence prevention activities led by the student council and traffic safety issues for safe commuting routes.
A student who participated in the camp said, “As a student council representative, I always wanted to speak well but lacked confidence and felt inadequate. Through this voice training, I learned how to speak confidently, and it was meaningful to gain various ideas for school violence prevention activities.”
