Domestic Stock Market Starts Rebound on Individual Buying... Institutions and Foreigners 'Selling'
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] On the 21st, the domestic stock market started with a rebound. The US stock market, which had plunged due to the shock of the COVID-19 Delta variant, succeeded in rebounding the previous day, leading both the KOSPI and KOSDAQ to start with an upward trend.
The KOSPI index opened at 3,251.13, up 18.43 points (0.78%) from the previous day. As of 9:10 AM, individuals were net buyers worth approximately 212.1 billion KRW, while foreigners and institutions were net sellers of about 105 billion KRW and 109.7 billion KRW respectively, reducing the fluctuation rate to 0.30%.

The KOSDAQ index also opened at 1,051.73, up 8.09 points (0.78%). Individuals were net buyers of about 117.5 billion KRW, but foreigners and institutions were selling approximately 80.3 billion KRW and 37.1 billion KRW respectively.
