Namwon-si Holds the 1st Social Agriculture Academy Training
[Namwon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Young-gwon] Jeonbuk Namwon City (Mayor Lee Hwan-joo) announced on the 20th that it will conduct the "1st Namwon City Social Agriculture Academy" education at the Agricultural Technology Center starting from the 29th.
This project is linked to this year's social agriculture education support public project "Agricultural Economy Adding Social Value," and social agriculture originally refers to agricultural activities that help socially vulnerable groups become self-reliant.
The Social Agriculture Academy of the Namwon Rural New Vitality Plus Promotion Team goes a step further by combining the social economy and agriculture to revitalize the region, and will be conducted over a total of three sessions in the second half of this year.
The first session of the academy will be held on the 29th and 30th with four hours of theoretical classes each day in the multipurpose room on the 2nd floor of the Agricultural Cooperative Platform.
On the 29th from 1 PM to 5 PM, Kang Min-su, Director of the Seoul Cooperative Support Center, will lecture on the topics "Combination of Social Economy and Social Agriculture" and "Understanding and Utilization of Social Economy."
The lecture contents include ▲Research on the convergence and utilization methods of social economy and agriculture ▲Understanding basic principles such as the history, values, and principles of social economy ▲Understanding organization establishment and operation (types, legal systems, support policies, etc.) ▲Understanding excellent cases and sharing economy (such as time banks), among others.
On the 30th from 1 PM to 5 PM, Kim Jeong-seop, Senior Research Fellow at the Korea Rural Economic Institute, will lecture on "Understanding Social Agriculture" and "Measures to Revitalize Social Agriculture."
The detailed topics include ▲Understanding the definition and value of social agriculture, current status of service targets ▲Government policy directions for social agriculture ▲Sharing excellent cases of social agriculture operation and implications ▲Practical tasks and methods for social integration ▲Collaboration between social agriculture, social economy, and sharing economy, etc.
Applications are open to anyone interested in social agriculture, including farms hoping to realize social agriculture.
The education consists of three sessions, with 20 trainees selected per session, and only trainees who have completed sessions 1 and 2 can apply for session 3.
The recruitment period for session 1 trainees is until the 23rd and applications can be made through the city hall website integrated reservation system. Session 2 education will be held on the 26th and 27th of next month, and session 3 education is scheduled for September 30th and October 1st.
