Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical Launches Two Types of Lemona Kakao Friends Edition
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical announced that it will launch two products, ‘LemonaSan’ and ‘Lemona TokTok’, as Kakao Friends collaboration editions on the 20th.
Through this collaboration, Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical will first release the ‘Lemona TokTok’ Kakao Friends edition and plans to offer various options of the ‘LemonaSan’ Kakao Friends edition, including 10, 50, 70, and 150 packs.
The ‘Lemona TokTok’ Kakao Friends edition is a vitamin C product characterized by a popping texture in the mouth and a sweet and sour peach flavor. The Kakao Friends characters are designed with a party theme, cutely expressing the fun popping sensation as soon as it enters the mouth.
This product contains 50mg of vitamin C per pack (2g), along with zinc, calcium, and vitamin D as secondary ingredients, making it suitable as a nutritious snack for the whole family. It is sold in packs of 10.
The country’s first powdered vitamin C product, ‘LemonaSan’, is also newly transformed with Kakao Friends. Known as the ‘national vitamin’, ‘LemonaSan’ is characterized by a non-sweet, refreshing taste and has been a steady seller and long-standing brand of Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical since its launch in 1983.
The ‘LemonaSan’ Kakao Friends edition features eight popular Kakao Friends characters: Ryan, Tube, Neo, Muzi, Jay-G, Frodo, Apeach, and Con. It is available in 10, 50, 70, and 150 pack configurations, with plans to release various sizes in the future.
In particular, the 50, 70, and 150 pack versions come in Lemona tin cases designed with Kakao Friends characters, enhancing their collectible value and making them suitable as gifts. Additionally, each stick pack features phrases such as ‘Have a happy day’, ‘Blow away your tiredness’, and ‘Always thankful’, harmonized with Kakao Friends characters.
