Moon Seung-wook, Minister of Industry, Requests Cooperation for Quarantine in Industrial Complexes
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] Moon Seung-wook, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, emphasized on the 19th that "cooperation in quarantine measures at industrial complex sites is necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19."
Minister Moon stated at a meeting with the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation that "industrial complexes are densely populated and have a large floating population, making quarantine measures challenging."
He added, "Although people are very tired due to prolonged strengthened quarantine measures, please guide the companies residing in industrial complexes to practice daily quarantine such as social distancing," and "Encourage employees of resident companies to have a safe summer vacation by dispersing schedules and locations, and make special efforts in safety management such as health care for workers during the heatwave."

On the same day, Minister Moon visited the Daeryung 3rd Knowledge Industry Center in Guro-gu, Seoul, to inspect the quarantine situation of the Employment and Labor Ministry Job Center and Hanssak System located in the center. He then requested the Job Center director and the CEO of Hanssak System to make efforts to have a safe summer vacation by dispersing schedules and locations to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
