According to the Gangjin Police Station in Jeonnam on the 19th, at around 8:25 a.m., an accident occurred at an intersection in Seongjeon-myeon, Gangjin-gun, Jeonnam, involving a local bus and a 3.5-ton truck.
The accident happened when the truck struck the side next to the driver's seat of the bus at the intersection, causing the bus to overturn. Thirty-six passengers on the bus sustained injuries of varying degrees and were transported to the hospital.
The bus was heading toward Gangjin-eup, stopping at several bus stops in Seongjeon-myeon. It was reported that many passengers boarded the bus in Gangjin-eup due to the market held there that day.
