"Lotte Chilsung Releases 'Rosebank 30 Years' Limited to 100 Bottles in Korea"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 19th that it has released the Scottish premium single malt whiskey ‘Rosebank 30 Years’ in a limited quantity of 100 bottles.
Single malt whiskey is made using 100% malted barley and is matured from the original spirit produced at a single distillery, allowing one to experience the unique taste and aroma characteristic of each distillery.
‘Rosebank 30 Years’ is a highly rare single malt whiskey with only 4,350 bottles released worldwide. The distillery, which closed in 1993, was acquired and rebuilt by IMD (Ian Macleod Distillers) in 2017. During the reconstruction, they discovered whiskey spirit that had been aged for a long time in a warehouse, and this limited edition 30-year-old vintage from 1990 uses only that spirit. The product name ‘Rosebank’ is derived from the roses blooming along the canal located in the Lowlands region of Scotland.

With a volume of 700ml, it has a light golden color and offers a delicate blend of caramel, almond, and sweet ripe fruit flavors with oak aroma, providing a deep richness. Additionally, the mint scent and smooth taste lingering in the mouth at the end are impressive. It is released domestically in a limited quantity of 100 bottles, increasing its value. The alcohol content is 48.6%.
