Pizza Alvolo Consumes 87 Tons Annually of Jindo Black Rice
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Pizza Alvolo announced on the 19th that it consumes approximately 87 tons of domestically produced black rice annually, greatly helping to expand the market for farmers.
Black rice is a type of rice containing the black pigment 'anthocyanin,' known as a 'superfood' that prevents aging and enhances skin vitality through its antioxidant properties that remove active oxygen.
The black rice used as the main ingredient for Pizza Alvolo's dough is sourced from Jindo, Jeonnam, the largest black rice production area in Korea. Since signing a business agreement with the 'Jindo Black Rice Production and Distribution Agricultural Corporation' in 2015, the company has been continuously supplied with this rice.
