On the morning of the 18th, 1,188,000 doses of AstraZeneca (AZ) COVID-19 vaccines shipped from the SK Bioscience factory in Andong, Gyeongbuk, were loaded onto transport vehicles for delivery. This supply is part of the quantity secured through a direct purchase contract between the government and AZ. Most of the vaccines are planned to be used for the second dose for elderly individuals aged 60 to 74 who received their first dose in May and June.
