According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 18th, the expected rainfall on the 19th is 30-80mm in the Jeonnam and Gyeongnam regions and Jeju Island (with heavier rainfall of over 120mm near the southern coast of Namhae, around Jirisan, southern Jeju, and mountainous areas), 10-40mm in the Chungcheong region, Jeonbuk, and southern Gyeongbuk, and 5-60mm in Jeju Island, the five western islands, and Ulleungdo and Dokdo.
The morning low temperature is expected to be between 22-25°C, and the daytime high temperature between 27-33°C. Due to the influence of the expanding North Pacific High, temperatures will rise further, and heatwave warnings may be expanded and strengthened in some areas.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' across all regions due to favorable atmospheric dispersion.
Strong winds and very high waves are expected in the southern offshore areas of Jeju Island, so vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should exercise caution for safety.
