On the 16th, at the Supreme Council meeting, Leader Song said, "I want to make a remark about the KBO," adding, "At such a critical time when the COVID-19 spread continues even after five days of social distancing in the metropolitan area, it is shocking that some professional baseball players have seriously violated quarantine rules."
He continued, "There are even allegations of the involved teams and the KBO downplaying and concealing the incident. If true, professional baseball, which lives on the love of the people, has betrayed the trust of the public," strongly criticizing the situation.
Leader Song stated, "This is something that cannot be overlooked. All players involved in this incident, as well as all related parties, must be held accountable," and added, "It should not be a simple scapegoating, but the KBO must thoroughly self-reflect and bear strict responsibility."
