4 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Naju... Cases 107 to 110
[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Four COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Naju, Jeollanam-do.
According to Naju City health authorities on the 15th, a total of four COVID-19 cases numbered 107 to 110 were confirmed the previous day.
Case 107 (Jeonnam 1751) was found to have been infected through contact with case 3025 in Gwangju. On the 12th, the patient showed symptoms such as sore throat and chills, underwent testing at the Naju City Health Center screening clinic the next day, and received a final positive diagnosis at around 8 a.m. the previous day.
Health authorities conducted disinfection after identifying the movements of case 107, including visits to local accommodations, restaurants, and cafes.
Cases 108 (Jeonnam 1752) and 109 (Jeonnam 1753) are a married couple who had cough and cold symptoms last week, got tested on the 13th, and were confirmed positive the previous day.
The couple was found to have visited local hospitals, pharmacies, and marts, and disinfection measures were implemented accordingly.
Case 110 had contact with case 3063 in Gwangju on the 10th, was tested on the 13th, and confirmed positive the previous day. It was confirmed that there were no particular symptoms at the time of testing.
Health authorities are focusing on disinfection based on the movement tracking of the four confirmed cases and identifying additional contacts through the distribution of safety text messages.
