Gwangju Social Welfare Community Chest Launches 'Korea Social Vaccine Sharing Campaign'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea announced on the 14th that it conducted the 'Korea Social Vaccine' sharing campaign to solve social problems after COVID-19 in front of the main gate of Nam-gu Office, Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 14th.
The campaign was joined by the Welfare Policy Division of Nam-gu Office and the Dong Community Security Council.
The Social Vaccine sharing campaign, which the Community Chest of Korea has been conducting since the 15th of last month, was promoted to support disaster-vulnerable groups facing difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and economic recession, as well as new social problems such as depression and unemployment caused by COVID-19.
The support targets include not only existing low-income households but also crisis families such as small business owners and unemployed people struggling to make a living due to the economic downturn.
The campaign will continue until the 31st and is being conducted nationwide to respond to social problems after COVID-19.
