40-Year-Old Caught Wandering Streets After Inhaling Butane Gas Late at Night
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A man in his 40s who was inhaling butane gas while walking through the heart of downtown Seoul was arrested by the police.
The Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul announced on the 14th that they had apprehended Mr. A (46) on charges of violating the Chemical Substances Control Act.
Mr. A is suspected of inhaling butane gas on the street in Gunja-dong, Gwangjin-gu, around 10:30 p.m. on the 10th.
After receiving a report that someone was "inhaling butane gas on the street," the police arrested Mr. A on the spot, who was in an unstable state and speaking incoherently. Two additional cans of butane gas were found in his bag.
