Samsung Asset Management Wins Two Categories at the 'Social i Award 2021'
Simultaneous Award Winner for Service Innovation and Finance General YouTube Categories
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Samsung Asset Management announced on the 14th that it received grand prizes in the service innovation category and the general finance YouTube category at the 'Social i-Award 2021.'
The Social i-Award is a service evaluation awards ceremony hosted by the Korea Internet Professional Association and sponsored by the Korea Internet & Security Agency and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency. An evaluation committee composed of about 4,000 domestic internet-related practitioners and experts selects and awards the most innovative and exemplary social media services in each category through online evaluations. This year, a total of 195 companies participated in five categories including Facebook and blogs.
Samsung Asset Management received the grand prize for service innovation by earning the highest evaluation in the service category among the five evaluation areas: design, brand, content, marketing, and service.
Samsung Asset Management’s Facebook channel was positively evaluated for visually providing various information helpful for investment, such as fund and ETF investment methods, timely fund recommendations, and market conditions and outlooks. The Facebook channel holds the largest number of fans among domestic asset management companies, with 120,000 followers.
Samsung Asset Management was also highly rated in the general finance YouTube category for introducing various products in line with rapidly changing trends and quickly reflecting market interests through its YouTube channel, winning the grand prize in this category as well.
For busy office workers, Samsung Asset Management operates webinars on its YouTube channel during lunch and after work hours, allowing viewers to directly see and hear experts’ insights. At the beginning of the year, it successfully conducted the ‘Gullyeora Money’ digital campaign for investment novices struggling with global direct investment, achieving 30 million views for the first time in the industry due to high investor interest.
