Goldman Sachs announced its second-quarter earnings on the 13th (local time). According to the company, second-quarter revenue was $15.39 billion (approximately 17.6292 trillion KRW), far surpassing the market forecast of $12.04 billion. Net income recorded $5.49 billion.
Notably, growth in the asset management division stood out. Revenue in this division for the second quarter was $5.132 billion, a 144% increase compared to the same period last year. Cumulative revenue for this year also rose sharply to $9.746 billion, up 386% compared to the first half of last year.
