'Sacheon Rock Festival' Changed to Indoor Event Due to COVID-19 4th Wave
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Sacheon Rock Festival, held in collaboration with BAT Korea, will be converted to an indoor performance due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Gyeongnam Sacheon Cultural Foundation recently announced on the 13th that, in response to the fourth wave of COVID-19, the venue for the Sacheon Rock Festival will be changed from the original Samcheonpo Bridge Park to the Sacheon City Culture and Arts Center Grand Theater.
The date and time of the event will remain the same, at 7:30 PM on the 16th.
With the venue changing indoors, performers who will passionately lead the world of rock, including Kim Kyung-ho, Park Wan-kyu, Hong Kyung-min, Emerald Castle, and Novasonic, as well as about 50 staff members, must all take a self-diagnosis test and submit the results.
Additionally, only 50% of the total seats (400 seats) will be allowed due to social distancing between seats, and to ease the disappointment of viewers unable to attend, a live broadcast will be streamed on YouTube.
Tickets for this free rock festival can be pre-booked by Culture Family members starting on the 13th, while general reservations will be available from the 14th to the 15th.
