The exhibition hall is located inside the lobby on the first floor of the golf course and displays and sells about 25 representative agricultural, marine, and livestock specialty products of Gangjin-gun, including agricultural products such as organic rice, oat rice, and mixed grains; processed foods and teas such as wood ear mushrooms, oat rice powder, smoothie mill, and jackknife bean tea; as well as marine products like freshwater shrimp jeotgal, maesaengi seaweed, abalone, and Gangjin Good Hanwoo beef.
Additionally, visitors can see traditional liquors directly made by Kim Gyeon-sik, CEO of Byeongnyeong Brewery (Food Artisan No. 61), and traditional fermented sauces personally prepared by Baek Jeong-ja, CEO of Gangjin Traditional Doenjang (Food Artisan No. 65).
The exhibition hall has information tags attached to the displayed items, including producers, prices, and contact details, allowing direct transactions between producers and consumers for customers wishing to purchase agricultural specialty products.
Dasan Beachae CC is a public golf course with 27 holes on a total land area of 450,000 pyeong, consisting of three courses (Dasan, Beachae, Jangbogo). It offers the best ocean course in Korea and a panoramic view of Gaudo Island, attracting 300 to 400 visitors daily.
A representative of Dasan Beachae CC said, “As a local enterprise, we are grateful for the opportunity to actively promote Gangjin's culture and agricultural, livestock, and marine products and to serve as a sales channel. We hope that operating the exhibition hall within the golf course will help promote Gangjin-gun and increase farmers' income.”
County Governor Lee Seung-ok said, “I thank the Dasan Beachae staff who cooperated to open sales channels for agricultural specialty products during these difficult times due to COVID-19. The county will also strive to establish a fixed customer database and prepare continuous revitalization plans so that farmers and fishermen can build a stable income structure.”
