The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Ma Jaeyoon) announced that they plan to complete vaccinations for about 3,000 firefighting officials who received the first dose of the AZ vaccine and those under 30 years old by the end of this month.
Previously, 849 119 paramedics completed their second dose last month, and after a two-week immunity formation period, they are performing firefighting activities under safer conditions.
The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters expects that once the second dose vaccination is completed, securing immunity against COVID-19 will reduce infection concerns during field activities and enable more proactive on-site operations.
