'Korean New Deal 1st Anniversary' Hydrogen Car Charging Fee Up to 20% Discount for One Day on the 14th
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Joo Sang-don] The Ministry of Environment announced on the 12th that it will offer up to a 20% discount on hydrogen refueling fees for one day on the 14th at 31 hydrogen refueling stations nationwide to commemorate the first anniversary of the 'Korean New Deal Comprehensive Plan' announced on July 14 last year.
This event was prepared to allow people to experience the achievements of the Korean Green New Deal and to serve as an opportunity to take a step forward. Approximately 45% (31 locations) of the commercially operating hydrogen refueling stations nationwide will participate.
Twenty-nine stations, including the National Assembly hydrogen refueling station, will offer about a 20% discount on refueling fees (8,800 won/kg → 7,000 won/kg), while two stations in Gangdong, Seoul, and Namdong, Incheon, will provide about an 11% discount (8,800 won/kg → 7,800 won/kg). Information on the hydrogen refueling stations participating in the event can be found on the Ministry of Environment and Korea Automobile Environment Association websites.
Along with this, the Ministry of Environment will hold test drive events in cooperation with Hyundai Motor Company so that anyone interested in hydrogen vehicles can experience them. At 19 test drive centers operated by Hyundai nationwide, hydrogen vehicles can be experienced through advance or same-day on-site reservations. Test drives are also available through advance reservations at dealerships (including agents).
