Lotte Department Store Yeongdeungpo Branch B1 Staff Confirmed COVID-19 Positive... Closed
On the 11th, an employee at the supermarket on the B1 floor of Lotte Department Store Seoul Yeongdeungpo Branch tested positive for COVID-19, and a closure notice was posted at the B1 floor entrance.
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Lotte Department Store announced that it has closed the basement 1st floor of its Yeongdeungpo branch after an employee working at the supermarket on the basement 1st floor tested positive for COVID-19 on the 11th.
The employee worked at the supermarket cashier from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. between the 7th and 9th. The department store stated that it took into account the Level 4 social distancing measures effective from the 12th. All employees working on the same floor are also undergoing COVID-19 testing following the confirmed case.
Lotte Department Store will suspend operations on the basement 1st floor of the Yeongdeungpo branch until the store’s regular holiday on the 12th. Previously, another store employee working on a different floor of this branch was infected, but all employees working on the same floor tested negative.
