The Ministry of Unification announced on the same day, "Due to the Level 4 social distancing measures in the metropolitan area, we have decided to temporarily suspend tours of Panmunjom."
The Ministry stated, "This measure prioritizes the safety of the public and was decided after close consultation with related organizations. We ask for the understanding of the public who were looking forward to the Panmunjom tours, and we will resume the tours as soon as the quarantine situation improves."
