Yongin City Temporarily Provides 911 Jobs to Households in COVID-19 Crisis
[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is temporarily implementing the 'Hope Dream Job Project' to support job seekers struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Yongin City announced on the 9th that it plans to provide jobs from September 6 to December 23 by recruiting 911 Yongin citizens for 240 project fields including COVID-19 quarantine support, vaccination support, environmental management, and purification.
The hourly minimum wage of 8,720 KRW will be applied, and weekly holiday allowances and transportation expenses will also be supported. If working 3 hours a day for 20 days a month, a total of 727,000 KRW can be earned.
The city will prioritize the selection of vulnerable groups such as low-income earners and people with disabilities, as well as citizens who lost their jobs or closed their businesses due to COVID-19. Job seekers can apply by visiting their local eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare centers from the 12th to the 23rd.
