[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Shin Jong-woo, who was inaugurated as the Deputy Mayor of Jinju City, Gyeongnam, conducted an urgent on-site inspection on the afternoon of the 8th regarding major projects in Jinju City, including the former Jinju Station Intersection Square Development Project.
Deputy Mayor Shin took time to inspect the project sites to quickly grasp Jinju City's key projects and to directly oversee safety management at construction sites during the rainy season.
With the recent start of the rainy season and continuous heavy rainfall, he conducted a comprehensive inspection to check for any dangerous areas at construction sites and to ensure a safe working environment, aiming to prevent safety accidents in advance by encouraging the construction personnel on site.
In particular, he first visited the former Jinju Station Intersection Square, where road and traffic facility sections are nearing completion, and emphasized, "Please thoroughly inspect the site and implement safety measures so that the construction site does not suffer damage from localized heavy rains, and devote all efforts to safety management until the construction is completed."
He also instructed the officials, "Efforts to accelerate the progress should be made simultaneously so that citizens can feel the advancement of the city's key projects."
