BGF Retail immediately delivered food and beverages to Gokseong, Boseong, and Naju in Jeonnam, where a large number of disaster victims occurred, as soon as it received support requests through the year-round 24-hour hotline established with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the National Disaster Relief Association. The relief supplies, totaling about 13,000 items including approximately 4,200 each of bottled water, bread, and ramen, were transported from the BGF Logistics Naju Center, located closest to the affected areas.
Last year, BGF Retail also urgently supported emergency relief supplies to more than 10 locations including Icheon, Daejeon, Yeongdeok, Jeungpyeong, Eumseong, and Jincheon, which suffered heavy damage from record monsoon rains, through regional logistics centers. In particular, CU dispatched a mobile convenience store, uniquely owned in the industry, to Gurye in Jeonnam, the area with the greatest damage, providing free food and beverages to local residents and others.
