Shinhan Bank, which started its first Donghaeng Project in May by supporting vehicles and fuel costs for child abuse shelters nationwide, is supporting meal boxes for children at risk of skipping meals during the vacation period as its second Donghaeng Project.
Through the Korean Red Cross, Shinhan Bank will provide the Shinhan Donghaeng Meal Boxes every two weeks from this month to August, a total of four times, to 250 families in Seoul and Incheon areas, including single-parent and grandparent-headed households, who are at risk of meal skipping due to care gaps during the vacation period.
The Shinhan Donghaeng Meal Box consists of convenience foods, nutritional supplements, and snacks. Support will be provided not only during this summer vacation but also during the winter vacation. Shinhan Bank plans to continue its efforts to prevent children from skipping meals during vacation periods through the Shinhan Donghaeng Meal Box for the next three years.
