Kumho Construction Wins Contract for New Terrace House Construction in Soho-dong, Yeosu
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] Kumho Construction announced on the 6th that it has won the contract for the new construction of 'Yeosu Soho-dong Terrace House' in Jeollanam-do.
This project involves constructing 10 apartment buildings with 162 units and neighborhood living facilities on a site of 19,677㎡ at 945 Soho-dong, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do, applying a floor area ratio of 85.07%, consisting of 2 basement floors to 4 above-ground floors.
Yeosu Soho-dong Terrace House consists of three types with exclusive areas of 101㎡, 89㎡, and 84㎡. The total construction cost is 55.1 billion KRW, and the construction period is 21 months after groundbreaking.
The model house will open this month, marking the start of full-scale sales. The model house is located at 1868-1 Ungcheon-dong, Yeosu-si. The project is being carried out by HP Development.
To the southeast of the terrace house is the clear Yeosu front sea, and to the northwest is Ansimsan (安心山), allowing residents to enjoy both the sea and the mountain simultaneously. All units are arranged mainly facing southeast to provide direct sea views from inside the units.
Terraces are applied to all units to maximize comfort. The terrace space is a service area that is not included in the exclusive or common area.
Inside the complex, gardens with various themes such as Forest Garden, Healing Garden, Fitness Garden, Living Garden, and Ocean View Garden have been arranged. A walking trail blended with wildflowers and a themed playground for children will also be created.
Located within the urban living area of Hak-dong, Yeosu-si, residents can utilize the existing surrounding living environment as it is. Nearby the complex are The Ocean Resort, U-World Luge Theme Park, and Yeosu Auto Drive-in Theater, offering various leisure activities.

The extension construction of Soho Dongdong Bridge, a famous spot of Yeosu Night Sea along with Yeosu Port, is scheduled to be completed in 2024. The extended Soho Dongdong Bridge is planned to pass in front of the complex, allowing residents to enjoy the beautiful night sea view of Yeosu and coastal walks simultaneously.
