According to the police and fire authorities, at 6:04 a.m. that day, a landslide occurred on a hillside in Jinsang-myeon, Gwangyang-si, Jeonnam, burying two houses and one warehouse under soil, and damaging two other warehouses.
The fire authorities are conducting rescue operations, reporting that A (82, female), who lived in one of the buried houses, is missing, but fortunately, it is reported that the missing person is alive.
Four people lived in another house, but one was out, and three were confirmed to have evacuated.
Above the site of the landslide, civil engineering work for the construction of a country house had been carried out in the past, and it is known that the leveling work was completed more than half a year ago.
