[Hot Stock] Airut Surges on 500% Free Share Increase Decision
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] A-Root is soaring on news that it will conduct a bonus issue allocating 5 new shares for every 1 common share.
As of 9:25 AM on the 6th, A-Root is trading at 10,050 KRW, up 15.25% from the previous day.
A-Root announced yesterday that it decided to carry out a bonus issue allocating 5 new shares for every 1 common share to activate stock trading and enhance shareholder value. The record date for the new shares is the 20th of this month, and the new shares are scheduled to be listed on August 10.
The new shares issued through the bonus issue amount to 64,238,830 shares, increasing A-Root’s total issued shares to 77,091,690 shares (from the previous 12,847,766 shares) after the completion of the capital increase. 5,094 treasury shares are excluded from this bonus issue.
A-Root, a company specializing in industrial printers, signed an investment contract in May with the anticancer virus specialist company ‘Virocure’, which could become its largest shareholder in the future, and made a first strategic investment.
