Geumcheon-gu to Hold the '2021 1st Regular Meeting of the Cooperative Governance Council' on the 8th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseong Hoon) announced that the 'Geumcheon-gu Cooperative Governance Council' will officially begin its activities starting with the first regular meeting of 2021 held on the 8th at the 12th-floor auditorium of Geumcheon-gu Office.
The 'Geumcheon-gu Cooperative Governance Council' is an organization responsible for deliberating and coordinating matters related to the establishment and activation of the public-private cooperative governance system, in accordance with the 'Basic Ordinance for the Activation of Public-Private Cooperative Governance in Geumcheon-gu.' It operates under a co-chair system consisting of the mayor and private committee members.
At this regular meeting, appointment certificates will be presented to 19 newly selected members chosen through an open recruitment in May, a private co-chair will be elected, and the final review of the 2022 Geumcheon-gu Community Innovation Plan projects will be conducted.
The Community Innovation Plan projects are initiatives identified through deliberation and public discussion by both public and private sectors to solve local community issues. This year, 10 projects were selected, including the 'AI Companion Robot Support Project for Elderly Living Alone,' 'Let's All Go to Anyangcheon with the Whole Family!,' and 'Environmental Improvement of Doksan-ro with Residents.'
