Man in His 60s Arrested for Killing Wife with Blunt Object
[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] A man in his 60s who killed his wife with a blunt weapon during a marital dispute was arrested by the police.
The Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 5th that they arrested Mr. A on suspicion of murder and applied for an arrest warrant. On the same day, Judge Younggwang Lee, in charge of warrants at the Seoul Southern District Court, conducted a pre-arrest suspect interrogation (warrant review) and issued the warrant, citing "risk of flight."
According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of killing his wife by striking her head with a blunt weapon during a marital fight at their home located in Daerim-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, around 3 a.m. the previous day.
