Yeonggwang-gun to Open 'Yeonggwang Sportium Children's Playground' from the 10th
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters reporter Lee Jeonseong]=Jeonnam Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 5th that the 'Yeonggwang Sportium Plaza Children's Playground' will open from the 10th.
The Yeonggwang Sportium Children's Playground was created in 2007 as an auxiliary facility of Sportium and was used by family visitors to Sportium, but complaints arose due to the need for maintenance of the simple playground equipment and aging facilities.
To resolve this and provide a space where families visiting Sportium with young children can safely enjoy, the facility was refurbished and opened, and the newly created playground is equipped with five types of various playground equipment including a zip line.
In particular, the zip line is a play facility that children will like the most, allowing them to enjoy thrilling play, and it was designed so that children can experience various types of equipment.
The county used natural-friendly materials with sand flooring and strong durability resistant to pests and diseases, which is expected to help children's emotional development.
