Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort to Hire Over 200 New and Experienced Employees

58 Summer Interns Also Hired Through Industry-Academic Cooperation with Universities in Jeju
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Lotte Tour Development announced on the 5th that it will publicly recruit over 200 new and experienced employees to work at Jeju Dream Tower Complex Resort until the 31st of this month.
The recruitment fields include 13 departments such as Casino (Table Games, Marketing, Security), Rooms, Food & Beverage, Culinary, HAN Collection (Accounting, Product Planning, Gift Shop), and Integrated Support (Finance, IT, VMD & Florist, HR).
Kim Jinhee, Executive Director of Human Resources at Lotte Tour Development, stated, "With the additional operation of 850 rooms in the second half of the year and the foreigner-only casino achieving results beyond expectations since its opening, we are securing additional personnel centered on local talent in Jeju to ensure smooth operations."
In particular, this recruitment will newly hire various casino specialists in fields such as Table Game Shift Manager, Pit Manager, Pit Supervisor, Dealer, and Membership Service for the first time, in addition to the existing LT Casino staff.
Since its opening on the 11th of last month, Dream Tower Casino has consistently attracted about 300 visitors daily until the 4th of this month, recording sales exceeding 5 billion KRW. Lotte Tour Development stated, "We plan to proactively conduct additional recruitment depending on the COVID-19 situation, including the implementation of the Travel Bubble (Safe Travel Zone) to facilitate the entry of overseas tourists."
Applications are accepted until midnight on the 31st via the recruitment page on the official Jeju Dream Tower website. Successful candidates will undergo first and second-round interviews. Preference will be given to those with relevant majors, certifications, experience in the same industry, and foreign language skills, depending on the job.

Meanwhile, Lotte Tour Development has recruited 58 participants for the summer internship program through recommendations from four local universities, including Jeju National University and Halla University, to provide more on-site experience opportunities for Jeju local talents. Among the 58 participants, 45 are currently enrolled students in the province, and they will work for two months from the 1st to August 31st. Outstanding talents will be given opportunities for regular employment.
