Gyeongnam Province Conducts Safety Inspections of Multi-Use Facilities Ahead of Summer Vacation
Joint Public-Private Safety Inspection of Zipline, Cable Car, and Monorail Until July 16
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 5th that it will conduct safety inspections on zip lines, cable cars, and monorails in preparation for the summer vacation and school break season.
The inspection will be carried out until July 16 and will cover 12 locations, including 4 zip lines, 3 cable cars, and 5 monorails.
The province formed a public-private joint inspection team together with relevant city and county departments and the Korea Industrial Safety Association.
The main inspection items include whether daily and regular inspections are conducted, compliance with qualifications and placement standards for safety managers, insurance subscription, and whether safety education is provided to workers.

Minor risks identified during the inspection will be corrected immediately on-site, and issues requiring long-term repair and reinforcement plans will be tracked and managed until the risk factors are resolved.
