[Exclusive] Kim Hyun-ah, Former Liberty Korea Party Proportional Representative, Appointed as SH President
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon has nominated former Liberty Korea Party proportional representative lawmaker Kim Hyun-ah as the president of SH Corporation.
On the morning of the 4th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government informed the Seoul Metropolitan Council's Urban Planning and Management Committee of the nomination of former lawmaker Kim as the president of SH Corporation.
Additionally, the Seoul Metropolitan Government was scheduled to send an official letter on the 5th to the Seoul Metropolitan Council requesting a confirmation hearing for nominee Kim, but due to incomplete preparation of the candidate's materials, it is expected to be sent around the 7th.
Accordingly, the Seoul Metropolitan Council has appointed No Sik-rae, vice chairman of the Urban Planning and Management Committee, as the chairperson of the SH president confirmation hearing committee, and the hearing is expected to be held around the 19th, marking the start of a thorough verification process.
In particular, the Seoul Metropolitan Council is expected to focus on probing any potential issues related to nominee Kim's real estate holdings, suggesting that Kim's appointment as SH president will not proceed smoothly.
