30s Man in Brain Death State After Motorcycle Accident Donated Organs and Passed Away
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A man in his 30s who fell into brain death after a motorcycle accident donated his organs and passed away a week later.
According to the Busan Haeundae Police Station on the 5th, Mr. A was riding a 125cc motorcycle when he collided with a compact car driven by a woman in her 20s at 5:10 a.m. on June 27 in Jwadong, Haeundae-gu.
Mr. A was transported to the hospital and received treatment but did not regain consciousness and was declared brain dead. His family promised to donate his organs.
At 1:05 p.m. on the 4th, Mr. A passed away after leaving his organs for others.
